Me Thinks He Doth Protest Too Much!
Presidential hopeful Barack Obama appeared on the "Late Show with David Letterman" in New York on Wednesday after a day of Arguments with The media over "Lipstick" comments.
Obama is on the defensive and running backward,.. The more he explains himself the more he seems to be slip-sliding away. Obama is definitely not the "Teflon" Candidate, many of his comments have been coming back to haunt him from earlier campaigning.
It would appear that the more people pay attention to Obama the more they see through his inane rhetoric. I have taken a private poll of individuals in my community and the general consensus is: "We don't need a President that takes ten minutes to answer a one minute question. We don't need a President with no foreign policy experience, and we don't need Obama!" While these may not be the sentiments of everyone they do seem to point toward some of Obama's great weaknesses.
There is no doubt that Obama is educated, there is no doubt that he could make a great Senator someday. The doubt is that he doesn't have the experience to run the country.
Obama should cut his losses in regards to his "Mistaken" comment and stick to issues, and he should learn the issues as well, never answering a question with "That's above my paygrade".
We don't want rhetoric, we don't need mud slinging, we do need someone who will think before he speaks, and can think on his feet. We don't need another Carter Administration.
Me thinks 'Obama' doth protest too much, and think too little!

Barack Obama "Considered" Joining the Military
And I Considered Robbing a Bank,.. so What!
In the same interview (with George Stephanopoulos of ABC's "This Week") that Obama slipped and said "My Muslim Faith" Barack Obama also indicated that he had 'Considered' joining the military after high school.
There has been no previous mention of this consideration in any speech or his memoirs(all two pages of them). So Why has Mr. Obama suddenly decided to bring up this claim? Is there any substansive proof that he ever really Considered joining the military?
I believe this to be nothing more than a smoke screen, a way for him to show his support of the troops. Unlike McCain who has a clearly defined military record, Obama has no such thing. There is no 'Proof' of his patriotism, no way for him to substantiate his claims, so there is also no way to prove that he didn't. This is just another example of Obama's efforts to prove himself.
Americans are not idiots, we begin to see that there is no experience behind Mr. Obama, there is no legitimate executive leadership, and as the Republicans have claimed all along he is no more than an empty suit. Obama needs to learn that words are not actions. Words describe actions, if you will learn this Mr. Obama maybe you can start filling out that empty suit of yours.
Let's all consider voting for him, then vote for McCain the Real Candidate, not the generated one!
