Obama to Supporters “Get in their faces” Religion of Hate/Rage begins

In a recent rally at a baseball stadium in Nevada, Obama began spouting drivel and preaching the religion of Anger, Rage, Bias, and Hatred.

It would appear that with the sinking in the polls and the terrible pressure from his campaign managers that Mr. Obama is taking a much more aggressive approach. More “Mud Slinging” ads, more speeches designed to aggravate and enrage the crowds.

While I believe that it’s true Obama has not shown enough feeling during his campaign, I don’t think this is the kind of emotion that is going to win those swing votes for him. Obama commanded supporters(subjects/believers) “I need you to go out and talk to your friends and talk to your neighbors. I want you to talk to them whether they are independent or whether they are Republican. I want you to argue with them and get in their face,” I have no problem with a heated debate with a fellow American who may not share my point of view, however I will not put up with someone “getting in my face”.

Obama went on to say "And if they tell you that, 'Well, we're not sure where he stands on guns.' I want you to say, 'He believes in the Second Amendment.' If they tell you, 'Well, he's going to raise your taxes,' you say, 'No, he's not, he's going lower them.' You are my ambassadors. You guys are the ones who can make the case." It seems to me that Obama is trying to enrage his supporters(subjects/believers), he is young, he is new, and he doesn’t know what to do. All of this feels more like a 1960’s protest rally than a political campaign.

Mr. Obama, all I have to say is remember just who your supporters are arguing with. Remember WE are the ones who support our right to defend, WE are the ones you suggest are too aggressive, and finally,….

WE ARE THE ONES WITH THE GUNS!

Get in my face,… At your own risk!

True, regarding political dialogue one has to be careful not to encourage anger and rage against other views but it is legitimate to discuss them. The nationalism of USA, USA... can also spark that kind of thing. In particular the idea that someone who wants to create a fundamentalist theocracy on our country with special (really born again christians!) whispering words of advice. But getting in each others face is no way to debate or treat people when discussing politic or when heading into an abortion clinic either..

Got desperation?

It does smack of desperation doesn't it? My question is, would you let someone "Get in your face" and tell you that you're wrong? I love a spirited discussion, I even like a heated debate, but the first person who gets in my face and flat out tells me my point of view is wrong, that guy will get his ass kicked.
