After three days of suspense and best efforts in Washington McCain announces that he will attend the debate.
I have read a lot of horrible things on the web about McCains efforts being a waste in Washington, and his delay being a political power-play. It's interesting to note that all of this speculation has been by the Democratic party leftists. These leftists have even suggested that McCain didn't want the debate because he was woefully unprepared. WELL,,,,,,,......
McCain is ready to Kick some ass, and the debate is on.
What I find amusing about this whole thing is that McCain did make Obama and the Democratic elite nervous. No amount of cajoling or threatening could force McCain into forcing his schedule. McCain proves himself to be the statesman while Obama allows himself to be seen as the selfish brat he really is.
All of this has to affect the nerves of Obama, he must realize now that he caters to McCain's schedule, he is the little puppy in the big pen with a political PitBull.
I for one am going to have a front row, armchair quarterback seat for these debates this evening. So sharpen those eye's, get out the microwave popcorn, and cool down a beer.
The Debate is on!

McCain accomplished what he wanted in Washington??? Chaos and a reverse of progress when we're in a crisis?
McCain is forcing Democrats to cater to his schedule??? You mean the previously scheduled debate that McCain can't decide if he has enough balls to attend?
Statemenship for our country??? You mean grandstanding and looking like a complete Drama Queen?
Face it - McCain looks like a complete idiot right now. The only person who looks dumber than McCain is his running mate.
McCain accomplished what he wanted? Sitting silently for 45 minutes in a meeting with Bush and Obama? Or was it the fact that he arrived in Washington 20 hours after he declared he was suspending his campaign to focus on the economic crisis?
McCain thinks aobut his current office and says, yeah we need to do something. Obama who never really cared about being in the senate say's "Give me a debate, I want to tell the country what is up"
only one of those two actually acted in response to the issues. McCain
I find it interesting that Obama suddenly thinks it's important to debate... how come he didn't accept all those invitations this summer?
Oh yeah... they don't give you the questions before you come up and do your act!!!
I am a bit shocked that people are getting on McCain for wanting to do his job... but then again those who are spending their time attacking John on this issue follow Harry Reid... and having lived in Nevada for a long time I know he is the master of do nothing, cause trouble and never represent the people of your state!
